Léandre Bouchard had an excellent 2011 season, making his mark with impressive performances on the Canada Cup circuit. The newly crowned U23 Canadian champ is quite justifiably proud of his accomplishments. Without great surprise, his impressive record earned him a trip to the World Cup Championships held in Switzerland. There, he proudly represented his country by finishing in 29th place, the best rank among North American riders. A sign of good things to come for this 19-year old.
This year, Léandre is very excited and motivated to join the Cycles Devinci team. He is entering his second season in the Elite category with full confidence and his progression indicates the best is yet to come. This national level athlete is an up and coming rider on the international level as well. He is currently studying accounting and management at the Alma Cegep. He previously trained with the Cyclone Club whose current members see him as a role model. Devinci is very proud to have Léandre as a member of its team!
