I was born in California and later moved to Vermont. I grew up skiing in California and even in Vermont skiing was my first choice of sports. Ultimately, that fueled my love for the mountains, but after suffering a knee injury during a race, I moved away from my skis and mountain bikes for a moment and decided to take on road biking. I did my first race at the age of 21 and have yet to look back. I was lucky enough to make it into the professional peloton and have committed myself 100% to following this path wherever it may lead or go.

This year that path brought me to Ekoi.com - Gaspésien. My goals are to see this squad grow into a successful professional team which will allow us to continue to race both nationally and internationally. My job is my biggest passion and for now, it takes me all over the country and world. For the moment, I can't imagine doing anything else. When this is over however, I will go back to school for a masters, take up skiing again, and just enjoy riding my Devinci through the mountains for fun.
