2011 Dexter RC
RC model is equipped with a Fox Float RL thru axle fork with 100mm of travel, Sram 2x10 drivetrain and a Fulcrum Red Metal 3 wheelset.

XP model is equipped with a Rock Shox Reba RL fork with 100mm of travel, a Shimano drivetrain and a Fox Float RP2 rear shock.

The secret is the Split Pivot’s synchronized anti-squat, braking, and leverage ratio curves. By integrating the latest in dampening and air spring technology, the Dexter is bred to make the strongest riders even stronger.

Split Pivot engineering delivers a transparent feel where suspension, braking, and acceleration work in harmony for a more efficient and fun ride. Embracing this balance, our full-suspension bikes combine a buttery smooth ride with explosive pedal power.

Split Pivot:
The system is called Split Pivot because of the concentric rear dropout pivot placed in-line with the rear wheel axle, but there’s much more to it than that. This pivot, partnered with careful swingarm and linkage pivot locations, allow for incomparable performance. When you pedal, the bike rockets forward; when you corner, the bike nails your lines; when you brake, the bike maintains traction. Forget about shock lockouts - this tuned blend of traction and efficiency makes bikes for any discipline react intuitively so that you can focus on enjoying the trails.

How It Works:
Split Pivot separates acceleration forces from braking forces in the suspension. The system reduces excess suspension compression due to acceleration forces, and at the same time reduces over compression due to braking forces. Braking neutrality can be tuned independently of acceleration characteristics, and suspension feel can be altered by varying leverage ratio curves in a wide range of options to suit different goals for suspension feel and riding discipline.
